IMPORTANT ALERT - hotels, motels and car hire in Sebring 
The rooms nearby Sebring are all reserved well in advance for race week. The nearest towns are Avon Park and Frostproof to the North of the track and these are also mostly reserved. Within 50 miles North of Sebring are many decent beds along Highway 27. Lake Wales has some development and Winter Haven has more. If a typical roadside Motel is what you want you will have your pick from I-4 all the way South past Lake Wales. The earlier you reserve the closer you can get to Sebring for race week. For the hardy, one might camp in a tent at the track. Rain is a possibility any month including March.
